Hey there! I'm Hussein Mahdi , a software engineer with over 5 years of journey in software development as of 2025. My path began during my studies at the University of Babylon, College of Information Technology, where I graduated with very good grades, ranking second in my cohort. I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree, expected to graduate in 2026. Throughout my academic pursuits, I developed a passion for software engineering with a focus on development and software architecture.

Fast forward to today, and I've evolved as a software engineer specializing in .NET development. My professional experience includes working at Digital Logic where I contributed to significant government projects. I've also worked as a programmer at Al-Mustaqbal University and as a freelance software engineer, where I've successfully delivered more than 8 projects for various institutions and individuals.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I actively contribute to the technology community through technical writing on platforms like LinkedIn, Medium, Dev, X, Coder legion, Youtube and Github. and personal website ProgrammerCoffee and a startup company called Era for software development and software solutions. My research interests have expanded to include explainable artificial intelligence, agent artificial intelligence, sensory compression, and graph neural networks. I maintain a specialized repository where I analyze and upload research theses, and I'm particularly passionate about advancements in computer vision.

I have a special interest in military and defense technology, which began during my graduation project combining military applications with computer vision. This passion led to my participation in the Security and Defense Exhibition 2024, where I contributed system suggestions and innovative ideas that leverage my software expertise in defense applications.
